Diana joins Moorestown eye in our receptionist department after completing her degree in history at Rutgers. She loves being bundled up under the blankies watching movies - especially horror movies! She has a beautiful cat named Gaston - with a much more likable personality than Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. You might find her changing the station at work to Taylor Swift!
Digna has been with Moorestown Eye for 20 years and she has become our patients’ go to optical assistant. She can tell you right away whether a frame looks perfect on you or whether you need to keep looking! Many patients are so attached to Digna, they don’t want anyone else helping them with their glasses. (Sorry Alisha and Gina—we know you are great too!!) Digna is a west coast girl who has become a NJ girl and she often helps our patients who speak Spanish. She has 2 grand children and a perfect grand-dog who even comes to visit Moorestown Eye sometimes! She currently serves on the board of directors for The Leroy W. Homer, Jr. Foundation. The mission of The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation is to support young adults who wish to pursue careers as professional pilots in memory of LeRoy Homer, First Officer of United Airlines #93 when it crashed in Shanksville, PA on September 11th, 2001.

Gina has been working at Moorestown Eye Associates for over 10 years but she's been working in eye care for over 40 years (she says she can't remember back that far!). Her favorite hobbies include snow skiing, reading and binge watching re-runs of Game of Thrones!!! Her co-workers beg you, please don't get her started on Game of Thrones! She says, "I love coming to work to spend time with my co-workers, the doctors and my clients. I love helping people pick glasses!"
Moorestown Eye has been privileged to have Cathi as a member of our eye care team for over 15 years! Not only does she serve as a technician and assistant to the doctor, but she also takes on some of the bookkeeping responsibilities of the office as well. When not at work, Cathi is incredibly devoted to her wonderful family- you’ll often find her cheering on the sidelines of her grandkids' games! Dr. Kim always says Cathi is one of the kindest people she has ever met and we are sure our patients would agree!
Angela has been working at Moorestown Eye Associates for almost a year. Drs. Les and Kim stole her from a local restaurant, Francos in Marlton, when they noticed her winning personality and smile! Often patients describe her as the "super bubbly, happy" technician" and people think she is the doctors' daughter. ( she's not- but anyone would be pleased to have her as their daughter!) Angela’s favorite thing about working at Moorestown Eye Associates is being with everyone with whom she works! She also really enjoys ballroom dancing and singing, and anything that has to do with music!
Amanda is an animal lover who owns several pets, including a horse named Wrangler. She enjoys drawing, crafting, and horseback riding in her free time. She is a HUGE David Bowie fan. She is our best lid flipper in the office so we often call on her for eyelid scans! So if our office sound system is playing David Bowie when you walk in, Amanda changed the station again!
Jenn has been with Moorestown Eye Associates since April 2015 and she feel as though the entire staff at MEA is like a second family. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients select new glasses- She just loves the look on their faces when we create that "makeover" type moment with a dramatic before and after just by changing out their frame! When not at work, she's spending time with family and friends, cooking/baking, and spoiling her dog Paco.
Moorestown Eye was incredibly lucky when Annie decided to make a career change and join us in April 2016. In addition to being the smiling face that greets you when you walk in the door, Annie also spends time at the beach and BOXING! ( Look out-- I guess we better be nice to her!) If you want to see her outside of the office-- you may just catch her at her favorite place, The Maple Shade Custard Stand!!
Ellie is one of the wonderful receptionists at Moorestown Eye. She grew up in Indiana, but came to NJ in time to graduate in the same graduating class as Drs. Friedman's daughter. When not at work, she enjoys hanging out with her family, being active, and being a dog mom. She also loves going to the beach, seeing live music, and most of all going to Disney world !! Her favorite food of all time is mac and cheese!
You never know who you will meet at Moorestown Eye. Penny is a service dog Dr. Friedman adopted from One Love Animal Rescue in Mt Laurel. She goes with Dr. Friedman when she sees patients at Brightview Assisted Living and she sometimes comes to our office as well. She helps patients with dementia or anxiety feel more comfortable with the eye exam process. Plus, she just brings smiles and slobbery kisses to our entire staff!
At Moorestown Eye Associates, we are fortunate to have a wonderfulstaff of caring individuals who will help make your visit to our office pleasant. They know that your time is valuable, and they always treat our patients with utmost care and respect. Our optical staff has a style and knowledge in eyewear options that we have seldom seen in other optical environments. They know how to balance a fashion forward approach with the best optical needs for a particular prescription. Our technicians assist the doctors in direct patient care. As the first people to escort you into the examination environment, we know that they will make you feel comfortable from the very beginning of your Moorestown Eye experience. We hope that you will find our front desk staff a welcome addition to our office and we welcome your feedback on any ways that we could make your visit more pleasant.
Our staff members attend multiple continuing education courses each year throughout the northeastern United States and are all members of the NJ Paraoptometric Society. Our entire staff is looking forward to assisting you with your eye care needs.
